Shopify product CSV checks and reviewed repairs
Use Golanto to inspect a Shopify product CSV, review supported findings, and download a corrected file. The workflow runs independently of your Shopify admin.
Use the file workflow
- Open the Shopify CSV fixer.
- Upload a CSV or try the synthetic sample.
- Choose whether the file creates or updates products.
- Review findings and proposed repairs, then revalidate.
- Download the import file and reports, and import through Shopify yourself.
Keep store knowledge with the merchant
Golanto can check file structure and implemented field rules. It cannot verify inventory against a warehouse, fetch remote images, approve category assignments, or determine whether a store already contains a handle. Treat findings as a review aid and keep a current store export.
Current and older headers
The current official specification and older exports can use different header names. Golanto recognizes the implemented current and legacy aliases; it preserves source columns instead of rewriting a whole catalog schema automatically. Check the support documentation when a field is not recognized.
What this check cannot establish
Golanto is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with Shopify, does not publish to a store, and does not certify marketplace acceptance. Current product taxonomy, custom metafields, market-specific settings, and live store state need separate review.
