Prepare a Cdiscount.com catalog file without a 2017 column list
Cdiscount’s English launch page says catalogs on this French marketplace can be created individually, in bulk with an Excel file, through the API, or by an integrating partner. The English FAQ says that after registration you download the product catalogue and/or your ads in the Seller Area, then enter stock, condition, and price, and that ads appear on Cdiscount.com. Neither page names the Excel columns. A tutorial PDF on Cdiscount’s CDN does. Its version table stops at version 2.0 on 6 November 2017. This page is for Cdiscount.com, not a swapped country store.
What do the current English Cdiscount pages say about the file?
The launch page describes selling on a marketplace in France and names four ways to create the catalog: one product at a time, bulk via an Excel file, the API, or an integrating partner. It points sellers to a help center and does not attach a template or a header row. The FAQ answers “How do I sell my products?” by saying you download the product catalogue and/or your ads in the Seller Area, enter available stock, set the product condition to new or used, and set your selling prices. After the account is activated, you list the ads and they appear on Cdiscount.com. The same answer says you can do this in the Seller Area or through the API.
The FAQ’s API path is Settings, then Your Personal And Banking Data, then Connection Settings. It says customer relationship management stays in French because Cdiscount.com is in French, whatever the delivery country. International delivery is a Seller Area setting under Settings, then Your Shipping Choices, then the International Delivery box. The FAQ says that box makes the catalogue eligible for delivery to Belgium, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, and Italy. That is a shipping setting on Cdiscount.com. It is not a second catalog file, and this page does not publish one page per destination.
What does the 2017 tutorial name, and why does it stay in 2017?
The PDF’s version table says version 1.0 was created on 22 March 2017 and version 2.0, dated 6 November 2017, followed a redesign of the product and offer creation pages. For bulk creation it says to open Produits, then Vendre des produits en masse, download the product-creation file and the category tree, and open the tab SOUMISSION CREATION PRODUITS_MK. It says to fill the dark blue columns, which it calls mandatory, and the red columns when the product is a variant. It then names lettered columns, including column A as Référence vendeur, column B as EAN, column F as Libellé court with a maximum of 30 characters, and column G as Libellé long with a maximum of 132 characters. It says to save as .xlsx and upload it on the sellershop.
The English pages retrieved on 1 November 2026 do not repeat that tab name, those letters, or those cell colors. They say Seller Area, not sellershop. This page does not copy the 2017 letters onto a file you download now, and it does not tell you to color cells. The PDF also describes an integration report. The 2026 FAQ does not repeat that report’s status words, so they are not quoted here as current Seller Area errors. The PDF’s image measurements are not restated here either. The 2026 pages do not state them.
How do you map a supplier file for Cdiscount.com?
- In the Cdiscount.com Seller Area, download the product catalogue and/or the ads file the FAQ describes. If you are creating products in bulk, use the Excel file that Seller Area gives you today. The launch page names an Excel file and does not attach the 2017 matrix.
- In Golanto, choose Cdiscount. Record Cdiscount.com, France, and the date you downloaded the file. The mapper still opens on Amazon until you change the platform.
- Map your values onto the headers in that download. Leave the 2017 lettered columns, including Référence vendeur and EAN, in the PDF. Do not rebuild them, and do not mark cells dark blue or red.
- Enter stock, condition, and price on the ads file. The FAQ’s condition words are new or used. It does not name the header above those cells.
- Set international delivery in Seller Area if you use it. The FAQ places that choice under Settings, then Your Shipping Choices. It does not describe it as an Excel column. Customer messages stay in French, which is the FAQ’s rule for Cdiscount.com.
Worked example
A supplier row is not the Cdiscount.com Excel file
sku,ean,title,price,qty
MUG-14,00012345678905,Stoneware mug,24.00,12These headings are a synthetic supplier sketch for something you might sell on Cdiscount.com. The English launch page and FAQ do not name them. The 2017 tutorial’s lettered columns, including Référence vendeur and EAN, belong to the tab SOUMISSION CREATION PRODUITS_MK in that PDF. Do not paste this sketch into Seller Area, and do not paint it in the colors that PDF describes.
What this check cannot establish
Golanto does not upload to the Cdiscount Seller Area, assign category codes, or call the Cdiscount API. This page uses the English launch page, the English FAQ, and the product-sheet PDF, retrieved on 1 November 2026. The PDF’s own version table ends on 6 November 2017. Its dark blue and red column instruction, and the lettered headers it names, are not repeated on the 2026 English pages, so they are not the file this page tells you to build. The Octopia help URL https://help.octopia.com/s/article/Comment-cr%C3%A9er-vos-produits returned the help-center shell without the article text, so this page does not quote it. Image measurements and report status words printed in the 2017 PDF are omitted for the same reason: the 2026 English pages do not state them. International delivery to Belgium, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, and Italy is a Cdiscount.com shipping setting in the FAQ. It is not a separate marketplace template.

Common questions
Does Cdiscount’s English site name the bulk Excel columns?
No. The launch page says bulk creation uses an Excel file. The FAQ says you download the product catalogue and/or your ads in the Seller Area and enter stock, condition (new or used), and price. Column letters and cell colors appear in the tutorial PDF dated 6 November 2017. Use the headers on the file Seller Area gives you now.
Is a Cdiscount.com file also the file for Spain, Germany, or Italy?
The FAQ treats those countries as delivery destinations when International Delivery is checked on a Cdiscount.com shop. Customer relationship management stays in French because the site is in French. This page does not publish a separate catalog template for each destination.
