Update existing Shopee listings in bulk
Shopee Mass Update edits listings that are already in Seller Centre. The Singapore lesson says you download a template for the listings you filter, change only the columns that template allows, and upload at most three files at a time. Creating new listings is Mass Upload, which is a different template.
What is a Shopee Mass Update file?
It is an Excel or CSV file Shopee generates for existing listings, not a blank sheet for new products. The Singapore lesson says there are five template types, and that each one edits a different set of information. The comparison table on that lesson did not come through as readable column names. Choose the type on the Download tab. The example the lesson states in text is the Basic Info template: only Product Name and Product Description.
Which cells on that file are you allowed to edit?
The same lesson gives two highlight rules. A note says you may only edit the items highlighted in yellow, and not the other items. A later section says you can only change columns whose text is green, and that a Basic Info template allows Product Name and Product Description. Use the highlight in the file you just downloaded. The lesson mentions price and stock as reasons sellers open Mass Update. It does not, in the text reviewed here, name the column that stores price.

- Open My Products, Product Tools, Mass Update. On the Download tab, choose the template and filter to the listings you intend to change.
- In Golanto, choose Shopee. Record the market, the template type shown in Seller Centre, and the download date.
- Map values only onto columns that file highlights as editable. Leave every other cell as Shopee generated it.
- Upload on the Upload tab. Shopee says the maximum is three files at a time, and to wait until current tasks finish.
- If the Processed column is 0, the lesson says the upload may have failed and to use Retry. If some listings were not processed, download the file and read Fail Reason at the end, then correct that template and upload it again.
Worked example
A supplier price is not automatically an editable Shopee cell

Map the name and description only when those columns are the highlighted ones in your file. Leave every other generated cell alone.
What this check cannot establish
The Singapore lesson displays the date 07-04-2021, and it describes the editable highlight as yellow in one note and green in a later section. This page does not name the other four templates, because that table was not available as text on review. Golanto does not submit the file or interpret Fail Reason. Another Shopee country can use a different download. Mass Upload’s instruction rows and Variation Integration No. belong to new listings, not to this update.

Common questions
Can I update existing Shopee listings with the Mass Upload template?
No. Mass Upload creates listings. Mass Update edits listings that already exist, from a file you generate for those listings. The two templates are not interchangeable.
How many Shopee Mass Update files can I upload at once?
The Singapore lesson says a maximum of three files at a time. Wait until Seller Centre finishes the current tasks before you upload more.
