Add bol.com items in bulk without replacing the offer
bol.com’s English Add items in bulk article adds items to the product range you already have online. If 100 items are online and you add 100, the article says you then have 200. Manage offer in Excel is the other upload, and that one overwrites the range. The article does not say this Excel file is the file for every bol locale.
Which bol.com upload adds items without replacing the live offer?
It is Add items in bulk, under Items in the seller account. The article gives two upload methods. Automatically link and enrich product information links your existing product information to bol’s model. That method does not process offer information, which you can add afterwards, and you receive a template at the end of the upload. The article does not name that template’s columns. Manually add product information and offers via Excel is the method where you bring your own spreadsheet.
Before you enter items, the article says to check that the items are suitable to sell via bol and that you have an ISBN or EAN for each item. A large upload can also go through the API. This page documents the Excel path in the seller account.
What has to be on the Excel file?
On the manual option, put all of the information on the first tab. Only that tab is read. Put the column names in the first row, and do not duplicate a column name. The article’s example is Stock in column E: that column should not appear again in another row. For items that are not yet sold via bol, link the columns that contain your EAN, title, and descriptions to bol’s columns. The system then tries to suggest a product category.
Identical or very similar items are grouped into sets so you can categorize a set together. Where bol predicts a category, you confirm it. If the prediction is wrong, you search for a category yourself. Items already known to bol do not need a category again. After the category, link the remaining columns to bol’s attribute columns. A matching or near-matching name is suggested. The article’s example is colour and kleur. A name that does not resemble bol’s name shows the message not yet linked, and you choose the attribute. If your column name is not in bol’s list, choose skip at the bottom of the menu.
On the content screen, the article says all red fields are mandatory to get the item online, and that green fields help customers choose. A field with a red border likely has an incorrect value. Hovering shows a message about what is wrong. The article does not quote those hover messages, and it does not name which attribute is red or green. You can drag a value down a column the way you would in Excel. Information is kept temporarily while you switch categories. Save changes reports how many items will go online and whether information is still missing.
How do you map your columns without using the v.2.3 offer file?
- In the seller account, open Items, then Add items in bulk. Choose the manual Excel option when the file should carry both product information and the offer. Record the download or upload date.
- In Golanto, choose bol.com. Record that the file is Add items in bulk, not Manage offers via Excel v.2.3, plus the date.
- Put your column names in row 1 of the first tab only. Do not repeat a column name. Map EAN, title, and description when the item is not yet sold via bol. Leave every other tab empty, because this article says only the first tab is read.
- In the seller account, confirm or search the product category, then link the remaining columns. Choose skip for a column bol’s list does not contain. Fill the red fields before you rely on the green ones.
- Save changes and read how many items will go online. Use Manage offers via Excel when you need to change price, delivery promise, or stock on the current range, or to remove an offer by leaving it out of that file.
Worked example
A supplier row is not yet a bol.com Add items in bulk sheet
ean,title,description,stock
0950123456789,Travel mug,Insulated mug,12These headings are a supplier sketch. On the manual Excel option, put your own column names in row 1 of the first tab and do not repeat a name. Link EAN, title, and description when this mug is not yet sold via bol. Keep the EAN as text. The English article says this upload adds to the range. A file that contains only this mug does not remove the other offers. The v.2.3 tab belongs to Manage offers via Excel.
What this check cannot establish
Golanto does not upload to bol.com, assign a product category, or decide whether an item is allowed there. This page uses the English Partnerplatform article reviewed on 1 November 2026. It does not name a file-size cap, a required header spelling, or the columns of the template you receive after the automatic-link upload. Red, green, and red-border fields are described on the content screen. They are not a printed column list, and the hover text is not quoted here. The same article’s French-content steps are for adding French after you create the item in Dutch, including the title and description, then opening the French flag on Complete your content. Those steps are not a second spreadsheet and are not the instructions for every bol locale. The article says saved French content is visible via bol within 8 hours, unless other content is given priority. Do not treat this page as the v.2.3 Manage offers file.

Common questions
Will Add items in bulk delete bol.com offers that are missing from the file?
No. The article says this upload adds items to the existing range. If 100 items are online and you add 100, you then have 200. Manage offer in Excel is the upload that overwrites the range.
Does Add items in bulk use the bol item import help v2.3 tab?
No. The manual option reads the first tab of your own Excel file, with column names in the first row. The v.2.3 tab belongs to Manage offers via Excel, which replaces the offers already online.
