Replace or update Kaufland offers without the product CSV
Kaufland’s English seller-university offer page says an inventory feed replaces every current offer on the selected sales channel, while an inventory command file supplements or updates offers. Product data is a different upload. The page is about Kaufland sales channels, including Kaufland.de, and it does not print the feed’s header row.
Which file replaces Kaufland offers, and which file only updates them?
The inventory feed replaces existing offers. The article says all current offer data for the selected sales channel is replaced by the file, and offer data left out of the file is deleted for that sales channel. New and modified products in the file are stored on that same channel. The inventory command file supplements or updates. The article’s example is offers A, B, and C on Kaufland.de: a command file can change A, B, and C or add D, so A, B, C, and D remain.
The command file has three commands. UPSERT updates an existing offer or adds one on the current sales channel, and the article says stock is adjusted on linked items in other sales channels. DELETE deletes the offer on the selected sales channel. You must provide the EAN. If you also provide an id_offer, only that unit is deleted, not every unit of the product. FLUSH has no parameters. It deletes all units from the sales channel that received the file. The article offers a download labeled CSV inventory feed sample file.xlsx, an XML feed, and an XSD it calls the schema with file types, parameters, and mandatory fields. The command file has the same three download kinds, labeled as the file that supplements or updates. This article does not print the headers inside those downloads.
Which offer values does that article actually name?
Offer data, in the article’s words, includes prices, delivery costs, and delivery times. Product data is the attributes of the product, such as size and material, and it has to exist before offer data. The article does not print price or delivery-cost column names. It does say the SKU is listed under id_offer in Inventory Feeds and in the Inventory Feed file. The SKU has to be entered before the offer is finalised. It cannot be added to an offer that already exists: that offer has to be deleted and created again. A SKU already linked to an EAN cannot be used for a different EAN. That EAN and SKU combination applies across all countries and sales channels. The article says not to recreate an existing offer for another marketplace, and it gives the move from Kaufland.de to Kaufland.at as the example. Doing so can show the message “SKU already in use”.
Condition accepts only integer values. The article pairs NEW with 100, USED – AS NEW with 200, USED – VERY GOOD with 300, USED – GOOD with 400, USED – ACCEPTABLE with 500, REFURBISHED___AS_NEW with 110, REFURBISHED___VERY_GOOD with 120, REFURBISHED___GOOD with 130, and REFURBISHED___ACCEPTABLE with 140. It points to the API documentation for more information. This page does not add condition names the article does not list. On an inventory feed, VAT is stored with vat_indicator. The article’s indicators are standard_rate, reduced_rate_1, reduced_rate_2, super_reduced_rate, and zero_rate, and it prints a country rate table this guide does not copy. If you enter no VAT rate, the article says the system applies the standard maximum rate for that sales channel. Its Kaufland.de example is a book at a reduced rate of 7 percent: leaving the rate empty makes the system use the standard German rate of 19 percent. The channels named for that fallback are Kaufland.de, Kaufland.cz, Kaufland.sk, and, once launched, Kaufland.pl and Kaufland.at.
Delivery time on the offer is handling time plus transport time, and only working days count. Saturday is not a working day. Public holidays are those of the country where you sell: German holidays on Kaufland.de, Slovak holidays on Kaufland.sk, Czech holidays on Kaufland.cz. Handling time stays in the offer data. The article’s example is a handling time of 1 and a transport time of 1–2, which it says displays as 2–3 days. Transport time is set on the shipping group, not in this guide’s invented columns. If a transport time is already set and the offer sends only minimum and maximum delivery times, the article says the transport time is left out unless handling time is sent as well.
How do you map an offer file without wiping the sales channel?
- Keep a copy of the offers already online. An inventory feed replaces the selected sales channel and deletes offers the file leaves out. Use an inventory command file when you mean to update or add.
- Download the sample for that file type from the offer article. Record the sales channel, whether the file is an inventory feed or an inventory command, and the download date. The article does not state the delimiter, the encoding, or a size limit.
- In Golanto, choose Kaufland. Record that the mapping is offer data, not the product-data CSV, plus the sales channel and the file type.
- Map only headers you can see on the sample you downloaded. The article names id_offer for the SKU on an inventory feed, the integer condition values above, and vat_indicator for VAT on an inventory feed.
- Enter the SKU before the offer is finalised, and do not reuse it for another EAN. For DELETE, include the EAN. Add id_offer only when one unit should be deleted. Do not send FLUSH unless every unit on that sales channel should be removed.
Worked example
A product-attribute row is not a Kaufland inventory feed
ean,title,colour
0001234567895,Stoneware mug, greyThis is a synthetic supplier sketch. The offer article says product data covers attributes such as size and material, while offer data includes prices, delivery costs, and delivery times. It does not say these three headings are the inventory feed. An inventory feed replaces the selected sales channel and deletes offers left out of the file. The SKU belongs under id_offer, and the same SKU cannot move to a different EAN.
What this check cannot establish
Golanto does not upload to Kaufland or decide which offers a feed will delete. This page uses the English seller-university offer article retrieved on 1 November 2026. That article does not state a delimiter, an encoding, or a file-size limit, and it does not print the inventory-feed header. Its feed download is labeled CSV inventory feed sample file.xlsx, with a separate XML file and an XSD the page calls the schema. Seller API file rules are not copied from a different article. The only error sentence quoted here is “SKU already in use”, which the article states for a repeated EAN and SKU. Condition integers are only the pairs in that article’s table. The same EAN and SKU apply across Kaufland sales channels, so a Kaufland.de offer is not a new offer on Kaufland.at. Empty VAT uses the channel’s standard maximum rate. The product-data CSV remains a different page.

Common questions
Will a Kaufland inventory feed delete offers I leave out?
Yes, on the selected sales channel. The article says current offer data for that channel is replaced by the file, and offer data that was not included is deleted for that channel. The inventory command file is the one that supplements or updates.
Where does the SKU go on a Kaufland inventory feed?
The article says the SKU is listed under id_offer in the Inventory Feeds and in the Inventory Feed file. Enter it before the offer is finalised. The same SKU cannot be used for a different EAN.
