Host a Kogan.com Marketplace product CSV
Kogan.com Marketplace creates and updates listings from a CSV you host at a fixed URL. The help article links two templates. One is the Kogan.com feed. The other is marked NZD fields only. They are different files. The category list that loaded is under kogan.com/au, so it is not a global category file.
Which CSV does the Kogan article tell you to host?
The CSV Feed Integration article says the feed URL is linked to the account and synced periodically. The file must be CSV and Unicode UTF-8. The URL must stay fixed, or Kogan.com cannot read the latest data. Its example of a URL shape is https://www.example.com/feeds/kogan/feed.csv. That address is an example, not a Kogan server. Listings show as sold out until the store is activated. The update article says a hosted feed is applied on the next sync, and that the default sync is every 4 hours.
The Kogan.com template that downloaded has these headers, in this order: PRODUCT_SKU, PRODUCT_TITLE, BRAND, CATEGORY, STOCK, PRICE, SHIPPING, IMAGES, PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION, product_inbox, product_gtin, rrp, kogan_first_price, weight, HANDLING_DAYS, PRODUCT_LOCATION. The NZD template uses the same other headers, and replaces PRICE, SHIPPING, rrp, kogan_first_price, and HANDLING_DAYS with PRICE_NZD, SHIPPING_NZD, rrp_nzd, kogan_first_price_nzd, and HANDLING_DAYS_NZD. Do not merge the two files. The hosted-CSV article says New Zealand fields should also be treated as mandatory when you sell into New Zealand.
PRODUCT_SKU,PRODUCT_TITLE,BRAND,CATEGORY,STOCK,PRICE,SHIPPING,IMAGES,PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION,product_inbox,product_gtin,rrp,kogan_first_price,weight,HANDLING_DAYS,PRODUCT_LOCATIONWhich values does the field article attach to those headers?
The field article’s mandatory section names PRODUCT_SKU, PRODUCT_TITLE, BRAND, CATEGORY, STOCK, PRICE, SHIPPING, IMAGES, PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION, HANDLING_DAYS, and PRODUCT_LOCATION. PRODUCT_SKU is at most 45 characters and may use letters, numbers, underscores, periods, or hyphens. It must not change after the product is created. PRODUCT_TITLE is at most 230 characters, with no unicode symbols or other special characters, no store name, and no shipping or marketing text such as SALE or FREE SHIPPING. BRAND is at most 230 characters, and unbranded or generic goods are noted as Unbranded. CATEGORY must be a Kogan category ID in the form kogan: followed by the ID. STOCK is a non-negative integer. The article says Kogan does not reduce stock after a purchase, and that 0 is marked sold out. PRICE is the sell price excluding shipping. The article calls it a positive integer, with up to 2 decimals. SHIPPING is 0 for free shipping, a positive amount for flat rate, or VARIABLE for variable shipping. IMAGES are public URLs separated by a pipe. The first URL is required, and at most 8 URLs can be added. The first image needs a white background with no text, watermarks, or marketing. Recommended size is 1000 by 1000 pixels, maximum width 1320, maximum height 1080. The article prints the resolution as 720dpi. Each URL must start with http:// or https://. PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION is HTML limited to the tags abbr, acronym, b, blockquote, br, code, div, em, i, li, ol, p, span, strong, table, td, tr, and ul. HANDLING_DAYS is a non-negative integer for a dispatch time the seller can meet on over 95 percent of orders. PRODUCT_LOCATION is 2 characters and must match Kogan’s country list.
The optional section names product_inbox, product_gtin, rrp, kogan_first_price, and weight. product_gtin is 8, 12, 13, or 14 digits. The same section lists possible exemptions for multipacks or bundles, refurbished goods excluding consumer electronics, non-branded generic goods, and private label. weight is kilograms and must be provided when shipping is VARIABLE. kogan_first_price must be the greater of $2 or 3 percent off the non-member price. The Australia category file that loaded has columns DEPARTMENT, CATEGORY, ID, DISPLAY, and EXAMPLE. The feed’s CATEGORY cell uses the EXAMPLE shape. One row is ID 48736, Appliances / Air Fryers, and its EXAMPLE is kogan:48736. That is the category on the template’s sample row. Do not put DEPARTMENT into the feed.
How do you host the feed without keeping the sample product?
- Download the template from the CSV Feed Integration article. Download the NZD template as well only if you are filling New Zealand prices. Keep the two files separate.
- Delete the sample row. Its PRODUCT_SKU is KA90LDGFRYA and its title is Kogan 9L Digital Air Fryer. Do not reuse that SKU.
- In Golanto, choose Kogan. Record Australia or New Zealand, which template you downloaded, and the date. Map your values onto the headers as they are spelled, including the lowercase ones. Separate image URLs with a pipe.
- Save UTF-8 CSV and host it at one fixed URL. The article’s example.com address is only a shape.
- Read the next sync before you assume a price or stock change is live. The update article says the default is every 4 hours. It points to a separate article for disabling SKUs. This page does not restate that article.
Worked example
A supplier image list is not yet a Kogan IMAGES cell
sku,title,price,images
MUG-04,Enamel cup,24.00,https://example.com/mug.jpgThese headings are a supplier sketch. The Kogan.com template uses PRODUCT_SKU, PRODUCT_TITLE, PRICE, and IMAGES, and the rest of the header row above. Image URLs are separated with a pipe, and the first image has to be a public URL. CATEGORY is a value such as kogan:48736, which the Australia category file maps to Air Fryers. That ID belongs to the sample air fryer. Pick the EXAMPLE value for your own product, then delete the sample row before you host the file.
What this check cannot establish
Golanto does not host the feed, sync it, or activate the store. This page uses the CSV Feed Integration article, the field article, the listing-requirements article, the update article, both template CSVs, and the Australia category CSV, retrieved on 1 November 2026. The field article prints image resolution as 720dpi, and it calls PRICE a positive integer with up to 2 decimals. This page does not change either sentence. The listing-requirements article says branded goods need a registered GTIN, while the field article lists product_gtin under optional fields and names exemptions. The sample row leaves product_gtin empty. An empty sample cell is not an exemption. The country list linked from the field article did not load, so this page does not copy country codes. The sample PRODUCT_LOCATION is AU on the Kogan.com template and NZ on the NZD template. Neither template is a global file, and the category CSV is published at kogan.com/au. The downloaded templates have no variation columns. The listing article links a separate variant article that this page does not document. PRODUCT_SKU must not be changed after the product is created.

Common questions
Can I add the New Zealand price columns to the Kogan.com template?
No. The NZD download is a separate 16-column file. It replaces PRICE, SHIPPING, rrp, kogan_first_price, and HANDLING_DAYS with PRICE_NZD, SHIPPING_NZD, rrp_nzd, kogan_first_price_nzd, and HANDLING_DAYS_NZD. Host the file that matches the market you are filling.
Does the Kogan sample row show every field I have to fill?
No. The sample row is Kogan’s own air fryer, and its product_gtin cell is empty. The field article still describes product_gtin, and the listing-requirements article says branded goods need a registered GTIN. Delete the sample row and use the field article for the headers in the template you downloaded.
