Prepare a MyDeal product file for Woolworths MarketPlus
The public MyDeal product files that loaded are a February 2026 Woolworths MarketPlus requirements PDF and a category workbook. The PDF covers Big W Market, Everyday Market, and Everyday Rewards Shop. The workbook is a category list. It is not a blank product spreadsheet, and these Australian banner rules are not a global file.
Which public MyDeal files loaded?
The requirements PDF is titled WMP Product Data & Image Requirements and is marked February 2026. It says product-data and image requirements are largely the same across banners, with differences in how each marketplace expects them to be followed. The banners it names are Big W Market, Everyday Market, and Everyday Rewards Shop.
The workbook that loaded has one sheet, MyDeal Category List. Its columns are CategoryID and Breadcrumbs. The first data row is CategoryID 2609, Appliances > Air Conditioners. The API document, version 3.5, last updated 06/08/2026, points to this same workbook as an alternative to GET /categories. Product create and update in that document is POST /products. That is an HTTP call, not a spreadsheet, and this page does not turn those API fields into columns.
What does the February 2026 PDF say a manual CSV seller should enter?
The only manual-CSV instruction in the PDF is about keywords. Keywords are optional. For a manual CSV seller, the PDF says to enter them separated by commas, with a limit of 2000 characters including spaces and commas. Its example is a list of air-fryer phrases. That example is not a header row, and the PDF does not print the other CSV column names.
On categories, the PDF says to select a single CategoryID, the furthest matching category down the hierarchy, and not to add multiple CategoryIDs. Its example path ends at Sofa Beds, and it says the product is tagged to the parent categories automatically. A title may be at most 200 characters, and the PDF says it is best to keep a title under 50 so it is not truncated. The standards say to capitalise each new word and not to use all capitals. A later guideline says not to capitalise words unless the brand is capitalised on the packaging. This page does not choose between those two instructions.
Images in the PDF must be jpg, png, or tiff. The general recommendation is 800 by 800 pixels. Everyday Market’s minimum is 650 by 650. Maximum width is 1320 pixels and maximum height is 1080 pixels, at 72 dpi. A later food section says 1000 by 1000 pixels and 72 dpi minimum, on a white or transparent background. Image slots 2 to 30 can be used. Big W Market shows at most 8 images. Everyday Market and Everyday Rewards Shop show at most 10. Everyday Market comparative unit pricing names Item Size as a number and Item Unit as a dropdown: grams (G), kilograms (KG), millilitres (ML), litres (L), pack (PK), each (EA), millimetre (MM), centimetre (CM), metre (M), square metre (SQM), or sheets (SS). The PDF does not print those names as spreadsheet headers.
CategoryID,Breadcrumbs
2609,Appliances > Air ConditionersHow do you prepare a file when no blank product template loaded?
- Keep the February 2026 PDF and the category workbook, and record the date you downloaded them.
- In Golanto, choose MyDeal. Record Australia, the banner you are listing on, and the date. Map columns only when those headers are in the file your seller account gave you.
- If that file has a keywords field, separate terms with commas and stay within 2000 characters including spaces and commas. Do not paste the PDF’s air-fryer keyword list onto a different product.
- Choose one CategoryID from the workbook, the furthest match down the hierarchy. Do not put 2609 on a product that is not an air conditioner, and do not put several IDs in one cell.
- Keep image files in jpg, png, or tiff and within the size limit for that banner. Leave Item Size and Item Unit for Everyday Market unit pricing only when your own file has those fields.
Worked example
A supplier keyword cell is not a Woolworths MarketPlus header row
sku,title,keywords,category
CUP-19,Enamel cup,"mug, enamel",KitchenThese headings are a supplier sketch. The February 2026 PDF tells a manual CSV seller to enter keywords as comma-separated text, limited to 2000 characters including spaces and commas. It does not name the rest of the CSV headers. The category workbook’s columns are CategoryID and Breadcrumbs. 2609 is Appliances > Air Conditioners in that workbook. It is a category row, not a product row.
What this check cannot establish
Golanto does not upload to Woolworths MarketPlus or decide a CategoryID. This page uses the February 2026 product-data PDF, the category workbook, and API document version 3.5, retrieved on 1 November 2026. The PDF does not print a manual CSV header row. The workbook is not a product template. POST /products is not a spreadsheet. Help.mydeal.com.au returned a Cloudflare check, and the MyDeal service-level page redirected to a Big W marketplace address that returned 403, so this page does not describe portal clicks. The banners are Big W Market, Everyday Market, and Everyday Rewards Shop. That is Australian guidance, not a global product file. The PDF also contains compliance rules for titles, descriptions, batteries, therapeutic goods, food, and other categories. This page does not copy those rules.

Common questions
Is the MyDeal category workbook the product upload file?
No. The workbook that loaded has two columns, CategoryID and Breadcrumbs. The API document points to it as a category list. It does not contain product rows, prices, or images.
Can this Woolworths MarketPlus PDF be used as a global MyDeal template?
No. The February 2026 PDF names Big W Market, Everyday Market, and Everyday Rewards Shop. Everyday Market has its own minimum image size and its own unit-pricing fields. Those rules are not a worldwide file.
