Fill an AliExpress Excel product template
AliExpress bulk listing, in the seller help reviewed for AliExpress Russia, is an XLSX workbook for one product category. The file already contains account metadata. You fill attributes. You do not add, delete, or reorder columns.
What is the AliExpress Excel upload?
It is the workbook from Products, Excel bulk operations, after you search for one category and download its template. The reviewed help says a single file cannot mix categories, because each category has its own characteristics. Other AliExpress seller centers can differ. Use the file from the account you sell with.
Which cells are unsafe to type over?
The reviewed article says dropdown cells must be chosen from the list, not typed. Whole-number fields and decimal fields reject units such as kg or cm. Weight, price, and dimensions cannot be zero. A barcode or EAN cannot be changed after the product is created. The seller SKU identifies the sellable unit, and adding a SKU is how variations are created beside the model, or SPU, id.

- Create the shipping template and any required brand registration in AliExpress before you rely on the file.
- Download the workbook for one category. In Golanto, choose AliExpress and record that category and the download date.
- Upload the workbook as the template. The mapper reads CSV and non-macro XLSX templates.
- Map your source columns onto the workbook headers. Do not copy a block of cells from a different category’s file.
- Upload the result through AliExpress and repair rows from the error file it returns.

Common questions
Can one AliExpress Excel file contain several categories?
Not in the seller help reviewed for AliExpress Russia. Each category has its own characteristics, so you download and upload a separate workbook per category.
Can I type a value into an AliExpress dropdown cell?
The reviewed help says to use the dropdown arrow and not to type those values by hand. Free-text cells, such as the product name, are the ones you type.
