Map a Lazada product template

A Lazada product upload is a category workbook from Seller Center, not one CSV shared by every product. Download the template for the leaf category and market you are listing in, then map your columns onto that file.

What file does Lazada expect?

Lazada Seller Center builds the upload file after you choose a category. Required attributes change with that category and with the country of the seller account. A workbook saved for another category, or another Lazada country, is a different file even when some column names look familiar.

Why does a copied Lazada header fail?

The workbook is the contract. Adding, renaming, or reordering columns to match a supplier export asks Lazada to read a structure it did not generate. Golanto compares your source headers with the headers in the workbook you supply. It does not invent the attribute list.

How do you prepare the workbook?

  1. In Lazada Seller Center, download the template for the leaf category you will use.
  2. In Golanto, choose Lazada and record the country, category name, and the date you downloaded the file.
  3. Map each supplier column onto a destination header from that workbook. Leave unmapped template columns empty only when you accept that an update can clear them.
  4. Download the mapped file, upload it in Seller Center, and correct rows from Lazada’s own result file.

Match sku to the seller SKU column in the workbook you downloaded. Do not assume every Lazada category uses these three names.

What this check cannot establish

This page does not reproduce Lazada’s attribute list, valid values, or error text. Those live in the workbook and the result file from your Seller Center. Golanto does not log in to Lazada or certify that a mapped file will pass review.

Common questions

Can I reuse one Lazada template for every category?

No. Download the template for each leaf category you list. Attributes differ by category, so a header row from another category is not a safe shortcut.

Does Golanto fill Lazada category attributes for me?

No. Golanto maps columns you match and preserves values you already have. It does not choose brands, category IDs, or allowed attribute values.
