Fill a Zalora Philippines product creation template

Zalora Philippines creates products in bulk from the Product Creation Template you download after you select a category. In Seller Center the path is Products, Import Products, select the category, download the template, fill the necessary fields, and upload the template.

Which file creates Zalora Philippines products?

It is the Product Creation Template, described on the Philippines creation FAQ as product creation by category. Download it from Products, then Import Products, after you select the category. Fill the necessary fields and upload that template. A single product uses a different path: Products, Add a Product, then the necessary fields, images, and Submit and Finish.

The Philippines product-upload FAQ says to download the newest template for a batch upload. It says templates are revised, and an old template will most likely be rejected. That FAQ also says you can indicate the Sale Price and the duration of the sale while creating a product. It does not put the sale-date example on the creation template.

What does the Philippines upload FAQ say about the file itself?

The creation FAQ does not name the column headers, the file extension, or an error sentence. The upload FAQ tells you how to split columns. For a .csv, open it in OpenOffice and separate columns with a semicolon. For a .xls, select the first column, then Data, Text to Columns, and separate by a semicolon delimiter. Those are opening instructions on that FAQ. They are not a header list.

Stock Update and Price Update are different downloads on the same Import Products page. The upload FAQ says each one shows a green banner with a Click Here link to the Export section, and that you then take the topmost Download. You upload the saved file with Import Mode set to Update Products. For a price update, that FAQ says sale dates use a leading apostrophe so the spreadsheet does not reformat them. Its example is '2016-09-01, the end date is one day later, and the example labels are SalePrice, SaleStartdate, and SaleEndDate. Those labels belong to that price-update answer. This page does not copy them onto the Product Creation Template.

How do you map a supplier file onto that template?

  1. In the Zalora Philippines Seller Center, open Products, then Import Products. Select the category and download the Product Creation Template. Download a new copy when you start another batch.
  2. In Golanto, choose Zalora. Record Philippines, the category you selected, and the download date.
  3. Map supplier columns onto the headers in the file you just downloaded. The creation FAQ says to fill the necessary fields. It does not name them on the page reviewed here.
  4. If that download is a .csv, follow the upload FAQ and split the columns in OpenOffice on a semicolon. Leave Stock Update and Price Update on their own files.
  5. Upload the filled template from Import Products. If Seller Center indicates which fields have an error, adjust those fields and upload the file again. The FAQ does not quote the error text.

Worked example

A supplier row is not the category template

Inspect this record
sku,title,colour,qty
TOTE-02,Cotton tote,Sand,8

These headings are a supplier sketch. Download the Product Creation Template after you select the category, and type on that file. The Philippines creation FAQ does not name these headers. A template saved for another category, or an older download, is the file the upload FAQ says is likely to be rejected.

What this check cannot establish

Golanto does not log in to Zalora, choose the category, or decide which fields the template marks as necessary. This page uses the Philippines product-creation FAQ and the Philippines product-upload FAQ, both reviewed on 1 November 2026, plus the product-creation page at sellercenter.zalora.com reviewed the same day. The sellercenter.zalora.com page does not describe this category download. It says a boutique goes live after bank details and at least 40 approved SKUs, and that images are 762 by 1100 pixels on a white or light grey background. Those sentences are not on the Philippines creation FAQ, so they are not Philippines template rules. The Philippines creation FAQ says a new product with images usually takes 3 to 5 business days to be reviewed, a new account then needs 4 more business days of backend setup after you report that the products are approved, and an account that is still not live with fewer than 20 approved SKUs is deactivated after 30 days and removed after 3 months of deactivation. The product-upload FAQ also answers description, care-label, and measurement formatting. Those examples did not render as a stable pattern in the copy reviewed here, so this page does not restate them. The emailed onboarding deck is not reproduced here. A step-by-step method for another Zalora country is a different document.

Common questions

Can I reuse one Zalora Philippines template for every category?

Download the Product Creation Template after you select the category. The Philippines creation FAQ calls that file product creation by category. The product-upload FAQ says an older template is likely to be rejected, so download the current file for the batch you are uploading.

How long before a new Zalora Philippines product appears?

The Philippines creation FAQ says a newly created product with images usually takes 3 to 5 business days to be reviewed before it is approved or rejected, and usually 3 to 5 business days before it appears. A new Seller Center account has another 4 business days of backend setup after you tell Zalora the products are approved.
